Akhilesh Yadav, chief of the Samajwadi Party(SP), uttered a bird through the management gimmicks regarding the Kumbh Mela. He states, "I would send a Hindi book to the CM for proper understanding of Kumbh management."
While making claims, in his tenure, research conducted by Harvard University on the Kumbh Mela was published in a book. "Before, I sent the Chief Minister the English version of the book. Now, I am sending him the Hindi version so that he can understand it better," said Akhilesh.
This comes at the heels of the recent reports of mismanagement and accidents at the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, where overcrowding led to multiple deaths, and a failure of the administration has been hammered by the opposition in these respects.
To this, Yogi Adityanath dismissed the allegations and stated that Kumbh is not merely a religious local fair but the soul of India's cultural and spiritual heritage. He accused the opposition of spreading false propaganda.
Many see Akhilesh's comment as a political retaliation, particularly as the political turf-race heats up for the upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh.
