Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha emphasized that youth represent the driving force behind Viksit Bharat @2047, urging them to harness their innovative ideas and aspirations for national transformation. Speaking at youth events like Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect and JK Youth Conclave, Sinha highlighted the young generation's pivotal role in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India.
Sinha declared the 21st century as India's era, with youth making the greatest contribution under Modi's leadership. He called on them to become informed, action oriented citizens driving Jammu and Kashmir's growth while understanding societal needs and sacrificing for Viksit Bharat goals. "The human mind is the greatest miracle and our youth can utilise this strength to build Viksit Bharat," he stated, stressing full endeavour, future charting, and blending modern inventions with higher consciousness.
The Lieutenant Governor praised platforms like My Bharat for bridging youth and policymakers, fostering dialogue and empowerment. He lauded Jammu University for initiatives enabling student potential and urged educational institutions to adopt global approaches, aiming to position India as the third largest economy. Sinha also noted J&K's 65 percent youth population as a demographic dividend, committing administrative support for their societal service and anti drug efforts.
At events, winners received felicitations, Viksit Bharat Shapath was administered, and young achievers from diverse fields were honored. Officials including advisors and commissioners attended, underscoring youth's role in innovative ecosystems, character building, and lifelong learning for Amrit Kaal.
