JAMMU AIR FORCE STATION CONFERENCE HALL DEDICATED TO BRAVEHEART FLT LT ADVITIYA BAL

Air Force Station Jammu today dedicated the Station Conference Hall to the "son of the soil" brave heart Flt Lt Advitiya Bal, who gave his life in the line of duty on July 28, 2022, in honour of the 90th Air Force Day.

 The brave heart enrolled at Sainik School Nagrota and the National Defence Academy before being later commissioned into the IAF's Fighter Stream on June 16, 2018. The extraordinary bravery and sacrifice shown by Flt Lt Bal will never be forgotten and serve as an inspiration to future generations in this land.

 In the presence of Air Commodore GS Bhullar, VM (AOC Jammu), Ruhi Bhullar (President AFWWA L), senior Station Officers, and Principal of Sainik School Nagrota Capt. (IN) Desai, the brave heart Flt Lt Advitiya Bal's parents, Praveen Kumari (mother) and Sub Maj Swaran Bal (father), officially opened the "Bal Conference Hall" of Air Force Station Jam.

 The first video conference between the young officer's parents in Jammu and the CO and officers of the fighter squadron at Utarlai (Flt Lt Bal's squadron), where the young officer paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, was made in the newly named "Bal Conference Hall."
