Arts and crafts have much essence.
In this day and age of rapid technological growth, we are witnessing development in all sectors. But the world of arts and crafts still holds relevance.
The world needs to teach kids the value of arts and crafts. In India, we have a rich diversity of arts and crafts that needs to be taught to children.
Arts and crafts shape the bright future of students. Kashmir too has a legacy of rich arts and crafts, which, unfortunately, the new generation is not learning much about. The need of the hour is for parents and schools to take art and culture learning seriously and make our kids well-versed in the world of arts and crafts. Be it learning painting or how to make shawls or carpets, children should be encouraged to learn arts and crafts.
It is worth mentioning that generating in children creativity, fine motor skills, and problem-solving abilities, ultimately makes their lives rich.
In this regard, imbibing qrts and crafts into their curriculum, schools can play a vital role in preserving our cultural heritage.
