Science is the heartbeat of present times. This era has transformed into great heights due to discoveries made by science. In the past 200 years science has made unbelievable inventions for humanity that have made life easy and revolutionised the world making it a global village.
Despite scientific laurels achieved by our great country still in many parts the need is to have youth having solid temper of science. The scientific temper is a must to grow for progress of any society.
In the Jammu and Kashmir region we have still good number of qualified youth lagging scientific temper and knowledge as a result we are not making that desired national and global impact.
We need more youth across the country making solid impacts through research and scientific discoveries and parents ,teachers also need to instill Scientific temper in them and make them firmly believe that scientific temper as a way of thinking and acting that involves being open-minded, logical, and rational. It's also the ability to use the scientific method to make decisions in everyday life.
Our students across the countrt should be taught that Being willing to question conclusions based on new evidence .
Being comfortable with the idea that there can be multiple truths .
We in Kashmir especially those studying need to bear in mind that developing a right sort of scientific temper allows to apply learning in a practical manner and to make informed decisions. It also helps to be more open-minded and tolerant of others. Not only this but Scientific temper aims to drive away superstition, religious bigotry, and pseudo-science.
Thus developing scientific temper in youth is must .
