PM Modi to attend G7 Summit in Germany from June 26 to 28

After attending the G7 summit, the PM is scheduled to visit the UAE where he is expected to pay his condolence on the passing away of former UAE president Shiekh Khalifa bin Zayed Nahyan. Also, he will hold a meeting with the current president of the UAE

Prime Minister is all set to fly to Germany’s Schloss Elmau to attend G7 Summit on 26 and 27 June. The PM has decided to visit the country after receiving an invitation from Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz.


During his address at the G7 summit, PM Modi has secured two sessions in which he will highlight several topics including energy, environment, climate, food security, democracy, and women’s equality. To strengthen international cooperation, representatives of other countries including Argentina, Indonesia, Senegal, and South Africa will also mark their presence at the summit.


The last time PM Modi visited Germany was on 2 May 2022. He visited Germany to mark the sixth edition of the India-Germany Inter-Governmental Consultations (IGU) 


After attending the G7 summit, the PM is scheduled to visit the UAE where he is expected to pay his condolence on the passing away of former UAE president Shiekh Khalifa bin Zayed Nahyan. Also, he will hold a meeting with the current president of the UAE.
