Amid political turmoil in Maharashtra, Congress vows to Support Shiv Sena

Congress party has once again assured its support to Shiv Sena amid the political revolt with the party. 

Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole on Thursday in a tweet said that his party would stand with Shiv Sen and would take any possible step to ward off the BJP from coming into power in the state. He also alleged that the saffron party is using the ED for its political gain.

"We're with #ShivSena to stop BJP from coming to power. This game is due to the ED... Congress is ready for a Floor test,” Nana Patole tweeted.

Meanwhile, CM Uddhav Thackeray has left his official residence “Varsha” and moved to his family home ‘Matoshree’.

Shiv Sena through its mouthpiece ‘Saamna’ slammed the rebels of the party and asked them to come out of their slumber on time. it also claimed that Shiv Sena is fully aware of who is behind the revolt.

Shiv Sena’s senior leader Eknath Shinde rebelled against his party and claimed that he has 46 MLAs with him to topple the government in Maharashtra. Shinde turned antagonist for his party over the Hindutva ideology as he claims that Shiv Sena has compromised with its principles for political gains
