As Maharashtra is boiling in political turmoil, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s troubles seem unending as the Enforcement Directorate has issued a fresh summons to him and has ordered him to appear on the first of July.
Raut was also summoned to appear before ED’s regional office in Mumbai at 11 am today. Raut is being investigated by the central agency in connection with the Patra Chawl case.
Commenting on the summons, Sanjay Raut’s lawyer said that he had asked for a period of 13 to 14 days to produce the document before the ED.
"We had applied to seek a time of 13-14 days to prepare and produce the report before the ED. Our demand has been accepted and we will produce the proper documents before the agency, " Raut's lawyer said.
