Uddhav Thackeray, the chief minister of Maharashtra, addressed an emotionally stirring letter to all dissident MLAs on Wednesday in the midst of the state’s serious political crisis, pleading with them to find a solution to bring the situation under control.

In an effort to calm them down and bring them back home, Uddhav Thackeray tried to reach out to them camping in Guwahati.

In an emotional message to the MLAs, he said, “You are still with Shiv Sena from the heart.”

Saying that he was concerned about them, Uddhav said, “You’ve been locked up for the last few days. Every day new information surfaces. Many of you are still in touch.”

He wrote to the rebel MLAs, saying, “Many of you are in touch with us, you’re still in Shiv Sena at heart; family members of certain MLAs have also contacted me and conveyed their thoughts to me.”

He claimed that additional details about the MLAs’ recent entrapment in Guwahati are becoming available every day. “I appreciate your feelings as the head of the Shiv Sena family; clear up the misunderstanding. If you speak up, we’ll find a way out of this, and we’ll sit down together to do it “said he.

The respect that the Shiv Sena has given you, you will not receive anywhere else, Uddhav further advised the rebel MLAs, warning them not to believe anyone’s claims. “We can certainly come to an agreement if you come face to face. Even now, as the Shiv Sena leader and head of the family, I am concerned about you “He begged.

On the other hand, Eknath Shinde earlier in the day asserted he was in Guwahati with 50 MLAs, 40 of them were Sena members.
