Without giving any official reason, Samajwadi Party head Akhilesh Yadav has announced the dissolving of all national, state, and district executive bodies of the organizations.

“The national president of Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav, except for the state president of the party, with immediate effect dissolved party’s national, state, and district executive bodies. National presidents, state presidents, and district presidents of all the party’s organizations, including youth and women’s wings, have also been dissolved,” Samajwadi Party stated via Twitter

The decision taken by the Samajwadi Party’s chief is seen as an aftermath of the thumping defeat of the party in Lok Sabha’s by-poll in Rampur and Azamgarh.

However, the party confirmed that its president of Uttar Pradesh, Naresh Uttam has not been removed from the post and will continue to serve as state president.
