The comment, made by Adityanath during a political rally, suggested that those with a "different DNA" were responsible for disrupting the state’s harmony—a statement Yadav deemed as unnecessarily divisive.
In a press conference, Akhilesh Yadav accused the Chief Minister of resorting to such rhetoric to mask the government’s failures in addressing the real concerns of the people. "Instead of talking about development, jobs, and farmers' issues, the Chief Minister is more interested in creating division among the people," Yadav remarked. He urged the state government to focus on governance rather than engaging in what he described as “polarizing” statements.
Yadav further emphasized that Uttar Pradesh's progress depends on unity and inclusiveness, not on separating people based on their lineage or background. He highlighted that such comments distract from the state's dire need for better infrastructure, healthcare, and employment opportunities.
