BJP Fuelling Terrorism: Farooq Abdullah's Bold Claim

Farooq Abdullah accuses BJP of spreading fear in Jammu and Kashmir to sway voters. He alleges the party's campaign tactics are responsible for rising terrorism.

In a strong statement, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah blamed the BJP for the rise of terrorism in the region. Abdullah claimed that the party's election strategy, which is heavily focused on the Jammu area, is aimed at creating fear and confusion among voters. According to him, BJP leaders are trying to intimidate voters both in Jammu and Kashmir by spreading false fears and presenting a distorted view of the ground reality.

He argued that the ruling party’s agenda is not to address the core issues of the people but rather to manipulate the political atmosphere through fear tactics. "BJP's top brass is deliberately focusing on Jammu as they want to polarize and manipulate voters by igniting unnecessary fears of terrorism and insecurity," Abdullah said in a public speech.

Abdullah expressed concern that such strategies are not only harmful to the democratic process but also dangerous for the overall peace in the region. He emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir's political future should be determined by the genuine concerns of its people, not the fear-mongering tactics of political parties.

The veteran leader also warned that the BJP's approach is fostering an environment where terrorism can thrive. "If the party continues to rule with this agenda of fear, we will see further unrest and a rise in terrorism," Abdullah added.

He concluded by urging the people of Jammu and Kashmir to remain vigilant and not fall for divisive politics that threaten the region's harmony.
