He also said that as the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections are approaching, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are leading the party's campaign starting from September 26.
The BJP has strategically planned these rallies, focusing on constituencies considered its strongholds.
As part of a packed schedule, Home Minister Amit Shah will cover four important locations - Barwal Mor and Jasrota in Kathua district, as well as Chenani, Bani and Udhampur. The Jansabha in Udhampur will encompass both the Assembly seats in the district, further consolidating the BJP's influence.
Prime Minister Modi's rally at MA Stadium marks his second appearance at the venue. Before becoming the Prime Minister, he addressed the 'Lalkar rally' here. So far, Modi has addressed three public meetings in Jammu and Kashmir - one each in Doda, Katra and Srinagar. The upcoming assembly carries strategic importance, as 40 seats are up for grabs in the third phase, many of which are considered BJP strongholds. These constituencies are considered crucial for the party's ambition to form the government in Jammu and Kashmir.
The third phase covers assembly seats in Jammu, Samba, Kathua and Udhampur districts — areas where the BJP won a majority in the last elections. The election campaign committee of the party is working tirelessly to ensure the success of this rally and rally public support for the BJP.
