Engineer Rashid, an independent candidate in the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, made an emotional appeal to the voters, requesting their support. Addressing a rally in his constituency, Rashid urged the public not to taunt or criticize him if he loses the election. Instead, he asked for their backing and understanding, reiterating his lifelong commitment to the region's development and prosperity.

"Winning or losing doesn’t matter to me as much as your trust does," Rashid said passionately. He emphasized that his political journey was driven by his desire to uplift the people of Jammu and Kashmir, focusing on employment, better infrastructure, and educational opportunities.

Rashid, known for his strong stance on regional issues and vocal criticism of the establishment, expressed confidence in his supporters but asked them not to mock him if the results weren’t in his favor. "If I fail, I don’t want taunts; I want support," he said.

As J&K heads to polls, Engineer Rashid’s plea adds an emotional layer to an already intense political atmosphere. His appeal has been widely discussed, with political analysts noting his connection with the grassroots. The elections are set to be a critical turning point for the future of the region.
