In a bold declaration, Farooq Abdullah, the President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC), confidently expressed his belief that the Cong-NC alliance will secure a decisive majority in the upcoming elections. Speaking at a rally in Srinagar, Abdullah emphasized the importance of unity among regional parties to address the pressing issues facing Jammu and Kashmir.

“We are united in our commitment to restore peace, stability, and prosperity to our beloved region. The people of Jammu and Kashmir deserve a government that understands their struggles and aspirations,” he stated, underscoring the need for a collective front against divisive politics.

Abdullah's remarks come in the wake of a series of discussions between the NC and Congress, aimed at forging a strong electoral alliance to challenge the ruling BJP's dominance in the region. He expressed confidence that the alliance will resonate with voters, who are increasingly disillusioned with the current government's policies.

“Our coalition represents hope and change. We will work tirelessly to ensure that every voice is heard and every concern addressed. Together, we will build a future that prioritizes the welfare of our people,” Abdullah added.

The rally witnessed a massive turnout, with supporters chanting slogans in favor of the alliance. Political analysts view the Cong-NC partnership as a significant move to consolidate votes and present a formidable challenge to the BJP. As the election date approaches, the alliance's strategy and public sentiment will be closely monitored in this critical political landscape.
