‘Kashmir Is Ours and Will Remain Ours’: MEA Reaffirms Stand

In a firm statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson reiterated India's unwavering stance on the Kashmir issue, declaring, “Kashmir is ours and will remain ours.” The comment was made in response to recent provocative remarks by neighboring countries and certain international organizations that questioned India's sovereignty over the region.

The spokesperson emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir are integral parts of India, and there is no room for any external interference. “Our position has been consistent and clear for decades, and we will continue to uphold it,” the MEA spokesperson stated. This reassertion of India’s stance comes amid rising tensions, with international voices raising concerns over human rights issues in the region.

India's firm response is seen as a message to neighboring nations, particularly Pakistan, which has repeatedly tried to internationalize the Kashmir issue. The MEA spokesperson accused Pakistan of fostering instability in the region and urged the global community to recognize the reality on the ground.

The recent statement has drawn attention domestically and internationally, sparking debates over the diplomatic approach India should adopt. Critics argue that such firm declarations could escalate tensions further, while supporters believe a resolute stance is necessary to send a clear message to the world.

The issue of Kashmir continues to be a sensitive topic, with deep historical roots and complex political dynamics. However, the MEA's strong response reflects India's readiness to defend its territorial integrity against any external attempts to alter the status quo.
