including advances in wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) and the use of
erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFAs), which have significantly increased data
transmission.
Prof. A H Moon,
Dean of Academic Affairs, chaired the session and, in his address, emphasized
that Electronics and Communication Engineering technologies are evolving at a
rapid pace. He noted that from AI chips to embedded technology systems,
students and researchers have the opportunity to explore diverse areas. Dr.
