Launching Cermony of Kashmir Lawyers Guild Organization J&K and Ladakh First time In History of J&K

The Press conference was chaired by the President Kashmir Lawyers Guild Organization Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Advocate Haamid Bhat along with other stake holders Including General Secretary Advocate Shabir Ahmad Najar, Spokesperson Advocate Syed Gousia Tabasum, Joint Secretary Advocate Uzma Hussain, Treasurer Advocate Asif Mohi-ud-din, Media Incharge Advocate Mohammad Suhail & Co-ordinator Advocate Aadil Jamal.


It was reiterated that the organization will work for the well being and betterment of Lawyers fraternity besides the general public to get their genuine grievances redressed the president Said. It has been pointed out that the Advocates Protection Bill Act 2021 be implemented in letter and spirit. 

That the organization shall provide free legal assistance to the Kashmiri minorities, and ex- sainiks,Jammu Kashmir Police, Indian Army and other paramilitary forces.

President Advocate Haamid Bhat Further added that the organization shall provide free legal aid to the women in distress, destitute and abandoned and including orphanage, having not any financial, Socio economic Support.

To work for the victims of terrorism which includes any crime against the citizens of India in order to rehabilitate them and to conduct legal literacy programs for the people of far flung areas, who are educationally and economically backward.

The Gen. Secretary Advocate Shabir Ahmad Najar added organisation will conduct legal awareness programmes in colleges, Universities, and other government institutions, besides to facilitate legal aid, good education and medical treatment and other essential needs to the jail inmates.

Advocate Haamid Bhat President Kashmir Lawyers Guild Organization emphasized that the Advocates Welfare Funds Act 2001 shall be implemented in letter and spirit, and the stipend be provided to the newly enrolled advocates across the Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh
