LG Slams Gagangeer Attack, Vows Zero Tolerance for Terror

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Gagangeer, where militants targeted security personnel, leading to a tragic loss of lives. Expressing his grief, Sinha emphasized that such cowardly acts will not weaken the region's resolve to combat terrorism. 

In a decisive move, the LG announced that security forces have been given complete freedom to act against terrorists and eliminate any threats that jeopardize the peace and stability of the region. “The perpetrators of this heinous act will not be spared. Our security forces have been empowered to take strong action against those responsible,” said Sinha in a public statement.

The attack has once again highlighted the persistent security challenges in the region. However, the government’s firm stance indicates a no-tolerance policy towards terror activities. The LG assured citizens that every measure is being taken to prevent such incidents and ensure public safety.

Sinha’s statement comes amid growing concerns over the resurgence of militant activities in certain areas of Kashmir. By granting unrestricted operational freedom to the forces, the administration aims to neutralize terror networks and maintain peace.
