Man Declared Dead Returns to Life After 10 Days

Ten days after his family performed his last rites, a man from Gujarat shocked everyone by walking into the prayer meeting held in his memory. Identified as Keshav Patel, the man had been presumed dead after authorities mistakenly identified another body as his. This astonishing incident occurred in the village of Rajpura, where the family had mourned and cremated the wrong body, following police confirmation.

The mix-up has left the family both relieved and furious. "It’s a miracle to see him alive, but how could such a mistake happen? We need answers," said a relative. Keshav, a 65-year-old farmer, was reported missing two weeks ago. When authorities recovered an unclaimed body resembling him, they notified the family, who accepted it without suspicion.

Keshav, who had been stranded in another city due to a theft, said, "I never imagined I’d come back to such a dramatic scene." Meanwhile, questions are being raised about police negligence and the lack of proper verification before handing over the body.

This bizarre incident has sparked widespread criticism of the administrative system's flaws. Citizens argue this case highlights the need for stricter identification protocols to prevent such emotional trauma for families.

While the Patel family rejoices at their reunion, they demand accountability and reform to ensure no other family faces a similar ordeal. The police have yet to issue an official statement on the matter, leaving many wondering how such a glaring error could go unnoticed.
