PM Modi Slams NC, Congress: "No Power Can Restore Article 370"

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a scathing attack on the National Conference (NC) and Congress, firmly declaring that no force can reinstate Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir. During a public address, PM Modi accused the opposition coalition of acting in sync with Pakistan's interests by raising the issue of restoring Article 370.

“This is their agenda to mislead people. No power in this world can bring back Article 370,” the Prime Minister stated, emphasizing that the historic decision made in 2019 is irreversible. Modi also pointed out how the abrogation of Article 370 has brought development, peace, and stability to the region.

The Prime Minister's remarks come at a critical time as political parties ramp up campaigning ahead of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. Modi urged voters to reject the opposition’s "false promises" and embrace the new era of growth in the union territory. The NC-Congress alliance has been vocal about reversing the abrogation, which Modi believes is a ploy to destabilize the progress in J&K.

The abrogation of Article 370, which revoked Jammu and Kashmir’s autonomy, has remained a contentious issue, with opposition parties continually criticizing the move.
