PM Modi will hold a bilateral meeting with Biden at the 'Summit of the Future'
India is all set to hold the Quad Summit in 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he will hold a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden. He will immediately begin his three-day visit to the US to attend the Quad Summit.
"I will be on a tour of the USA, where I will participate in various programs. I will attend the Quad Summit hosted by President Biden in his hometown of Wilmington. I am looking forward to the discussions at the summit. Bilateral meetings with President Biden. In New York, I will attend the future summit. I will be in the city. Will be addressing a community program," he said in a post on X.
The meeting with Biden will provide an opportunity to explore and establish new avenues to strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership for the benefit of citizens and the wider global community, PM Modi said in a statement.
"I look forward to joining my colleagues President Biden, Prime Minister Albanese and Prime Minister Kishida at the Quad Summit. The forum has emerged as a key group of like-minded nations working for peace, progress and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region," he said in a statement.
"My meeting with President Biden will allow us to review and identify new avenues for deepening the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership for the benefit of our people and for global well-being," he added.
Prime Minister Modi will also address a UN summit on what he termed the "road forward for human progress".
"The Future Summit is an opportunity for the world community to chart the way forward for the betterment of humanity. I will share the views of one-sixth of humanity, because their stake in a peaceful and secure future is the highest. World," he said.
