Political strategist asks Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav to lead the protests against alleged irregularities in BPSC entrance exams, raising a storm on governance and youth issues.
Prashant Kishor Stands for BPSC Entrants' Protest
Political strategist Prashant Kishor has now further extended his support to protesting Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) aspirants demanding justice over alleged irregularities in the examination process. Kishor joined the agitation and urged Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav to take the lead in addressing the students' grievances.
The aspirants accused the iniquitous nature of the process and lack of transparency in selection that has put an end to their future careers, in the opinion of them. Criticizing Kishor Kishor is a well-known personality with an excellent political sense of acuity was also found critical over state government's action of inaction and stress to hurry up for accountability. "Youth of Bihar deserve fairness and clarity in system," he stated during his protest.
Mentally mentioning the unrest building among youths in the states, Kishor also asked Tejashwi Yadav to get it done: "If Tejashwi honestly represents Bihar, then he will stand with these students and give justice to the same, said Kishor while stating that young leadership is the main cause of this crucial issue".
Protests have galvanized, especially student protests to transform the recruitment processes with more vigorous accountability mechanisms. Governments promise an inquiry while many opine that participation of Kishor is itself a political gamble that channels and captures the protest from the state to a big agenda of Bihar about governance and accountability.
Now, it's the turn of the state leadership to respond to the demands of its youth in a bid to redeem the system from further damage by rising tensions.
