Shah Claims Pakistan Fears Modi, Avoids Firing at LoC

Union Home Minister Amit Shah made a bold statement on Pakistan's stance regarding the Line of Control (LoC), claiming that the neighboring country fears Prime Minister Narendra Modi and therefore avoids opening fire along the border. Shah’s remarks came during a rally, where he also criticized the Congress and the National Conference (NC) for their alleged failure in handling terrorism during their rule in Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah stated that the previous misrule under these parties allowed terrorism to grow uncontrollably, putting the region in grave danger. "It was under their watch that terrorism flourished in J&K, and it is only under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership that the region has seen a sharp decline in cross-border aggression and terrorist activities," Shah asserted.

He further pointed out that the current government has restored peace and stability in the region, with Pakistan now hesitant to provoke any hostilities at the LoC. According to Shah, this shift is a direct result of India's strong leadership under Modi.

The rally was part of the BJP's larger campaign in Jammu and Kashmir, focusing on the upcoming elections, where Shah emphasized the need for continuity in governance to maintain the region’s newfound stability.
