Sonia Gandhi’s Alleged Kashmir Links Spark BJP Attack  

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stirred a fresh political storm, alleging Congress leader Sonia Gandhi's links to a George Soros-funded group that purportedly advocates for Kashmir's independence. The accusation has added fuel to an already charged political atmosphere ahead of critical elections.  

Senior BJP leaders claim that the Congress party, under Sonia Gandhi's influence, is associated with global organizations that undermine India’s sovereignty. BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra stated, “The Congress has been playing with national security by associating with international forces bent on destabilizing India.”  

The Congress party, however, swiftly dismissed the allegations, calling them "politically motivated and baseless." Congress leader Jairam Ramesh countered, “This is another desperate attempt by the BJP to divert attention from pressing issues like inflation and unemployment. Sonia Gandhi has always stood for India’s unity and integrity.”  

Political experts suggest the BJP’s move is a strategic attempt to corner the Congress by raising questions about its nationalist credentials. The claim comes at a time when public discourse is heavily polarized over national security and regional autonomy, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir.  

While no concrete evidence has been presented by the BJP to substantiate its claims, the debate has already ignited fierce discussions on social media. Supporters of both parties have taken to digital platforms, escalating the political tug-of-war.  

The controversy reflects the deepening rift between the two national parties as they battle for public trust and electoral dominance. Whether this accusation will sway voters or backfire remains to be seen.
