In a video message, addressing to G20 ministerial conference on women empowerment in Gandhinagar,
the PM emphasised that President Droupadi Murmu is setting an inspiring example. “She leads the world’s largest democracy and serves as the commander-in-chief of the world’s second-largest defence force though she comes from a humble tribal background.
If we look From the Chipko movement to the appointment of Droupadi Murmu as the President, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke " when she whispers the world whispers" on women empowerment while stressing on the need to create a level-platform where women achievers become the norm.
The PM highlighted the pivotal roles played by women as the backbone of rural agricultural families and as small traders and shopkeepers. Maintaining that women hold the key to innovative solutions to climate change, he recalled how women led the first prominent climate action in India in the 18th century when the Bishnoi community of Rajasthan, led by Amrita Devi, started the ‘Chipko Movement.
Women plays an important role to every single person, and to whole world, women plays each and every role of life with beauty, and strength with continues efforts without taking break, women nurtures the world with care.
Women should be appreciated to provide platform to enhance their career, their emotions, their education.
