There is no room for hurdles or fear where willpower is strong has been demonstrated yet again by Kay Mehta, a very able staff member of the Adani Group. He recently created a different example of grit and mettle by bungee jumping on a wheelchair in Rishikesh.
Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani posted a video of Kay Mehta's incredible moment on social media X (formerly Twitter). In the video, Kay is seen defying his limitations and leaping from the heights of Rishikesh. Witnessing this courage, Gautam Adani wrote,
"Most individuals bungee jump for adventure. But our Adaniyan Kai Mehta bungee jumped to deliver a message. Jumping off the heights of Rishikesh in a wheelchair, he informed the world that no barrier or fear can deter willpower. Kai, you are not just inspiring us, but rewriting the Adaniyan mindset. You are turning this belief into reality: 'Hum kore dikhate hai'."
Continuous contribution to society
Not only motivating employees, Gautam Adani and his family are toiling day and night for the backward and specially abled citizens of the society. Last year, he provided an opportunity to financially poor cricketers of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Adani Foundation stepped forward to assist the dream of specially abled cricketer Aamir Hussain Lone become a reality. The organization gave a grant of Rs 67.60 lakh to Aamir to establish a cricket academy for the kids of his village. Backing Aamir, Adani Foundation Chairperson Preeti G Adani penned in a letter—
"I am glad to hear that you are working day and night to establish a cricket academy in your village. This academy will benefit not just young cricketers but also specially abled players. This is certainly a laudable effort."
New example in Mangal Seva
In February this year, Gautam Adani's son Jeet Adani and his wife Diva made a special move in social service. They committed 'Mangal Seva' and gave financial support of Rs 10 lakh each to 500 newly wed specially abled women.
This Adani effort is not about monetary help alone, but also sheds a beam of hope on the lives of specially abled individuals. Whether it was Kay Mehta's courage or assisting Aamir Hussain Lone in turning his dream into reality—Gautam Adani and his family have made it clear over and over that nothing is beyond reach when determination and kindness act in tandem.
