Anant Ambani, Director, Reliance Industries Limited, undertook a historic 170-km padayatra between Jamnagar and Dwarkadhish Temple at Dwarka, Gujarat, for an act of devotion and spirituality. It was between March 29 and April 6, coinciding with Ram Navami festivities. Anant traveled around 20 kilometers a day, sometimes even in the dead of night, stopped for breaks at different temples on the route, prayed, and participated in chants. His pilgrimage was under the shadow of Z-plus security and was subject to considerable attention from believers, welcoming him with blessings and ritual recitals.

Anant termed his padyatra as a spiritual journey at the individual level, leading young people to believe in Lord Dwarkadhish for victory over adversity in life.

His mother, Nita Ambani, expressed admiration at his cultural significance of his odyssey, being pleased at his dedication towards propagating Indian traditions. Spiritual guru Bageshwar Baba accompanied Anant barefoot for half of the pilgrimage, once again highlighting its religious significance.

The seashore activity of the padyatra is a veda maṭha function to mark Anant's 30th birthday on April 10. His wife, Radhika Merchant, said in an interview with TOI that she was happy to celebrate this milestone with family at Dwarka. The frequent pilgrimages of the Ambani family speak volumes about their strong spiritual connect and commitment to upholding cultural values.

The pilgrimage touches the hearts of the devotees from all over India deeply, inspiring many people to take up spirituality and devotion.
