Bulldozer Revenge': 6 Arrested for Demolishing Homes

It's a sorry situation in which six have been detained for vandalizing the house of a man and his relatives' houses in Gujarat for their elopement act as an act of revenge. On March 21, 2025, at the wee hours of night, the assailants who are still on the run used a bulldozer to demolish parts of six members of Fulmali people including a house of one whose daughter eloped.

The woman in question was said to have eloped with her paramour during a visit to her parents in Anklav taluka, Anand district. As an act of revenge, her family members took the law into their own hands, leading to the demolition that has drawn widespread criticism.

The local authorities moved rapidly to the action, arresting the six vandals. It is one among a disturbing pattern where communal riots and individual rivalries turn into extreme behavior, often involving the destruction of property.

The police stated that they were investigating the case further and that justice would be served. This case brings into question the core values in society and the extent to which individuals would go to retaliate over perceived provocations or grievances.
