Chahal-Dhanashree got divorced, how much did they end up paying?

Two days before the IPL, the divorce of Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma was finalized. On Thursday, a family court in Mumbai gave the seal to the divorce. Today, on Thursday, a family court in Mumbai gave the seal to the divorce of Chahal and Dhanashree.

The Bombay High Court had on Wednesday directed a family court in Bandra to complete the hearing of the Chahal-Dhanashree divorce case and give a verdict by March 20. Following that order, Chahal and Dhanashree went to the family court today. There, both of them were seen wearing masks. They left from there a few hours later.

Then, Indian star cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal's lawyer Nitin Kumar Gupta told the media that the court had approved the divorce of Chahal and Dhanashree.

 Earlier, according to various media reports, Chahal would have to pay a maintenance of Rs 60 crore if he separates from Dhanashree. However, the real information has come to the fore now. Chahal and Dhanashree got married in 2020. But they have been living separately since June 2022. After Chahal and Dhanashree, both parties sought divorce, the court ordered Dhanashree to pay Rs 4.75 crore as maintenance. But Chahal did not pay the entire amount. The court did not take it well. After that, the Bombay High Court ordered the family court to complete the entire process by Thursday. Since the IPL is ahead, it was asked to settle the matter quickly. That process was completed this time.

Chahal has been absent from the Indian team for a long time. He does not get a chance in any format anymore. But he is valued in the IPL. Punjab Kings bought Chahal for Rs 18 crore in this year's auction. He is the most expensive Indian spinner in the history of the IPL.  Punjab will play their first match against Gujarat Titans on March 25. Before that, a big event happened in Chahal's personal life.
