KULGAM, DECEMBER 31:Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan (IAS), on Tuesday chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the implementation and progress of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme in the district.
During the meeting, the DC reviewed key components of the scheme, including beneficiary registration, skill training, and toolkit distribution, with special emphasis on the status of credit linkage for eligible beneficiaries.
Highlighting the critical role of timely credit support in ensuring the success of the scheme, the DC directed the concerned line departments and banking institutions to strengthen coordination, identify existing bottlenecks, and expedite the processing and disbursement of pending credit cases.
The Lead District Manager (LDM) was instructed to ensure that all sanctioned cases are disbursed without delay and that beneficiaries receive financial assistance in a time-bound manner.
The Principal, ITI, was directed to ensure the distribution of toolkits to all trained beneficiaries and to promptly take up any issues related to toolkit delivery with the concerned authorities.
The DC further emphasized adopting proactive and result-oriented measures to ensure speedy and effective credit linkage for all eligible beneficiaries across the district, reiterating the administration’s commitment to the successful implementation of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme in Kulgam.
