Actor and MP Kangana Ranaut has publicly thrown her support behind Victoria Beckham amid an escalating family dispute involving the British fashion icon, her son Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife Nicola Peltz. The controversy has dominated celebrity news in recent days, following Brooklyn’s emotional social media post accusing his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, of interfering in his marriage and prioritising public image over family.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Kangana shared a clip from the 2007 reality special Victoria Beckham: Coming to America. The video shows Victoria treating a driving licence photo like a glamorous photoshoot, with officials telling her the image cannot be retouched. Kangana used the moment to express her admiration for Victoria, writing that no “saas bahu drama” could make her dislike the designer, calling her a “real queen” and adding the hashtag #teamVB.
The feud became public on January 19, when Brooklyn Beckham posted a lengthy note alleging long-standing tensions within the family. He claimed his parents attempted to sabotage his relationship with Nicola and controlled media narratives about the family for years. Brooklyn also revisited rumours from his 2022 wedding, stating that Victoria backed out of designing Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute and accusing her of hijacking the couple’s first dance.
In his post, Brooklyn described what he called a pattern of performative family moments and public branding, suggesting it came at the cost of authentic relationships. The claims quickly sparked debate online, with fans and media dissecting past interviews and wedding-day accounts to understand the roots of the conflict.
Victoria and David Beckham, married since 1999, have three other children Romeo, Cruz and Harper. While neither David nor Victoria has issued a detailed public response to Brooklyn’s allegations, the situation has continued to trend across social media platforms.
Kangana’s show of support adds an Indian celebrity voice to the international conversation, highlighting how the high-profile family drama has captured global attention beyond the UK and the US.
