Lalu Prasad on
Sunday promised that that youths would be given jobs in Bihar, eliminating the
need for migration to make a living, If RJD is elected to power in the upcoming
state assembly elections
On his social media account "X," Lalu promised that if the RJD was
elected to power, they would be able to find work in Bihar itself, eradicating
the need to migrate to neighboring states in order to make a living.
He added that in order to provide youth with employment possibilities, a wide network of industries would be established in Bihar.
In response to
Lalu's pledge, JD(U) chief spokesman Neeraj Kumar called it absurd. He stated
that the people of Bihar were aware that the region had seen a dark phase
during the RJD government.
Many prominent professionals, including doctors, engineers, and merchants, had
moved to other states in search of employment and to preserve their lives and
property.
Kumar said that people were not prepared to believe the promises made by RJD
leaders. During the RJD regime in Bihar from 1990 to 2005, only kidnapping
industries were flourishing in the state, he added.
"During the RJD regime, organized crime was widespread, leaving people
feeling unsafe and insecure," said the JD(U) leader.
He claimed that in the upcoming assembly elections, which are scheduled for October and November of this year, the RJD would never be elected to Bihar.
