MLA Kulgam Chairs Review Meeting at Rest House Chawalgam

Kulgam, Feb 24: The Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Kulgam Assembly Constituency, M. Y. Tarigami, today chaired a review meeting with district and sectoral officers at Rest House Chawalgam, Kulgam.

The meeting was attended by DDC Chairperson M. Afzal Parray, ADC Vikar Ahmad Giri, DDC Member M. Abass, and other officials.

During the meeting, officers briefed the MLA on department-wise activities, development projects, and welfare initiatives being undertaken in the constituency. The MLA took stock of key developmental issues, including road connectivity, water supply, healthcare improvements, school infrastructure upgrades, irrigation canal expansion, and rural development programs.

He emphasized the need for efficient public service delivery and urged officials to plan developmental projects based on the requirements and feedback of the local population. The MLA also underscored the importance of realizing the district’s agricultural, industrial, and tourism potential.

Stressing meticulous planning, he directed officers to prioritize key administrative and developmental initiatives to ensure the holistic growth of the constituency.
