Srinagar,11 Dec:- The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party has given a significant responsibility to young political worker Mudasir Ahmad Bhat by appointing him as the State Secretary for North Kashmir. The announcement was made on 11 December 2025 after discussions with constituency in-charges and district presidents.
Mudasir, a resident of Naidkhai Sumbal in Bandipora, has been active in public outreach and youth engagement for several years. His appointment is seen as a recognition of his growing influence at the grassroots level and his consistent work within the party ranks. Party members say he has played a steady role in mobilising young workers, addressing local issues, and strengthening the PDP’s presence across Sonawari and other areas of North Kashmir.
As State Secretary, Mudasir is expected to coordinate organisational activities, support district bodies, and help expand the party’s youth wing under the leadership of PDP Youth President Aditya Gupta. The party believes his experience on the ground will help shape a more responsive structure across the region.
Local workers from Bandipora and adjoining areas have welcomed the decision, expressing confidence that Mudasir will bring fresh energy and focus to the party’s organisational efforts. His appointment adds to a broader series of youth-centric leadership roles filled by the PDP as it prepares for the political challenges ahead.
With this new role, Mudasir Ahmad Bhat enters a more prominent phase of his political journey, carrying the expectations of both the party leadership and the people of North Kashmir.
