Navroz, which means "new day" in Persian, is an ancient festival that marks the first day of spring and the start of the Iranian calendar year.

It is celebrated by Parsis and others of Persian or Iranian heritage around the globe.

With a history spanning over 3,000 years, Navroz has its origins in Zoroastrianism and symbolizes nature's rebirth and the victory of good over evil.

The festival dates back to the Achaemenid Empire, the first Persian Empire, and has evolved over the centuries, blending the cultural traditions of various communities.
