Former BJP president and union home minister Amit Shah commented on bihar’s CM, Nitish Kumar’s political future after the assembly elections on 2025.
The dispute took a larger shape as Shah ignored to address nitish’s role directly during the event in New Delhi. The argument raised queries about the political aftermath of the NDA in Bihar which followed political changes in Maharashtra, where Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde was replaced by BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis as chief minister.
As, Shah has been asked about Nitish’s upcoming role in the coming Bihar assembly elections, raising a question whether BJP would uphold the strategy alike Maharashtra,Shah replied
“We will sit together and decide over the issue. Once we take a decision we will let you know.” Shah even added that decisions of such kind are not made in public forums and it’s made by the parliamentary board.
However in Bihar JD(U) members have noticed the statement as an affirmative statement of Nitish’s outstretched leadership.
On the contrary, the rural development minister and JD(U) neta Shrawan Kumar committed that the party would repeat to fight the next state elections under nitish leadership. Shrawan Kumar said,
“I have not seen shah’s statement but India will fight the next polls under nitisha’s leadership.”
BJP HAM-S, LJP have publicly raised their voice for Nitish’s reign whereas Upendra Kushwala president of the Rashtriya Lok Morcha said,
“We are set to fight the next assembly polls under Nitish’s leadership..... Lekin agar usme koi bat hogi toh vichar hoga.”
JD (U) state chief spokesperson a
Neeraj Kumar said,
“Maun lakhsnaam, swikriti laakehnaam”.
Kumar emphasised on the requirement for coordination among NDA allies which he credited for the performance of the alliances in the recent Lok Sabha elections he said,
“We all have trust in the leadership of the PM and the CM”.
