In a heartfelt condolence message, Thakur conveyed his sympathies to Saleem Wani and his family, praying for strength in this difficult time.

Mohd Shafi Wani, the younger uncle of Saleem Wani, passed away on 18th February at his residence in Iqbalabad, Kangan, Ganderbal. A renowned contractor in the valley, he was respected for his dedication and service to society. His Charrum will be observed on Friday, 21st February.

Mourning the tragic losses, Altaf Thakur said, “I extend my deepest condolences to Saleem Wani and his family. May Allah grant them the strength to bear this irreparable loss. I pray for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace and attain the highest place in Jannah.”

The back-to-back bereavements have left the family and well-wishers in deep grief. Several media professionals and political figures have also expressed their sympathies and support to Saleem Wani during this difficult time.
