Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has once more taken a hard stance on protecting people’s interests. He has ordered the arrest of the FIR immediately against one of the leading real estate companies. Furthermore, the CM has provided full assurance of government support to the buyers who have suffered loss due to the alleged misappropriation of flats/plots.
Some buyers have leveled various complaints to government sources regarding Ansal Group concerning certain frauds. After making full payments, many homebuyers have not been offered exclusive rights over the flat/plot. Additionally, claims of incomplete construction, irregularities concerning the handover process, and violations of the contracts also add to their woes.
On the other hand, responding to these allegations, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made it clear that no fraud, in any form, would be tolerated. He has cautioned that any real estate company or developer would have to face severe consequences if they were found fooling buyers. The government, he assured, will make sure to restore the safety and interests of homebuyers, and adequate steps would be taken to accord them justice.
Most of the complaints against Ansal Group are by middle-class and lower-middle-class families who invested all their savings in buying a home. In this way, their dreams are about to be shattered in view of some sort of deception by the company. The loudness of homebuyers was such that it compelled quick action from the government to order legal proceedings against the company.
The affected buyers have welcomed the discharge of government action and expect their grievances to be solved fairly. They expect the return of money or timely delivery of possession of the booked properties.
