Kulgam, March 11: The Teachers' Forum has submitted a memorandum to the Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Dr. G.N. Itoo, demanding urgent action on key issues affecting educators. Led by Mubarak Ahmad Wani, District President of the J&K Employees Coordination Committee and J&K Teachers Association Kulgam, the delegation stressed the need for a fair transfer policy for Rehbar-e-Taleem (RET) teachers, timely promotions, and resolution of long-pending administrative matters.
Wani emphasized that teachers have been serving in challenging areas without transfer opportunities, and delays in promotions are affecting morale. He urged authorities to act swiftly to improve working conditions and ensure a better learning environment for students.
Dr. Itoo assured the delegation that the department is actively addressing these concerns. The teachers' community now hopes for prompt action to enhance their career prospects and workplace conditions.
