Air Vice Marshal Praveen Keshav Vohra, AVSM, VM, Air Officer Commanding Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh today met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha here at Raj Bhawan, Srinagar.
The Lt Governor and the AOC had several key discussions on the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory's air defence management system.
The Lt Governor commended the Indian Air Force men for their bravery and valour in fulfilling their responsibilities, as well as for their invaluable assistance to the population living in remote and high-altitude locations and their pivotal role in crises.
Previously, on September 26th, 2021 as part of the continuing celebrations of the "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" at SKICC, LG Sinha was recently spotted opening the IAF's air show, "Give Wings to Your Dreams." To give their ambitions wings, Sinha urged the young people of the UT to enlist in the Indian Air Force.
