AJAY DEVGAN'S "THANK GOD" OUT, DAY 1 SAW POSITIVE REVIEWS

The movie "Thank God" came out in theatres on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. The film, starring Siddharth Malhotra, Ajay Devgan, and Rakul Preet, has gotten positive reviews from viewers.

"Thank God," which has been directed by Indra Kumar, is a humorous light-hearted movie. However, it was dogged by controversy even before it was made public. Vishwas Sarang, the minister of medical education for the state of Madhya Pradesh, has called for the movie's suspension due to its offensive depiction of a Hindu deity. Even so, he wrote a letter about it to Anurag Thakur. Due to controversy, the character played by Ajay Devgan was renamed CG from Chitragupta.

The fans are thrilled about Sidharth's first theatre release in over two years. Recently, the actor celebrated ten years in the business. Although the movie's box office occupancy for the early morning showing seems unconvincing, there have been a variety of responses on Twitter. While a portion of his admirers are really satisfied with the plot, another group is less than pleased with the actor.

In a press release, the producers revealed the opening-day box office totals for India.

“With the entire nation now celebrating their #ThankGod moments, it’s time to #ThankGod for all the love the film has received on its #Day1 #IndraKumar directorial, #AjayDevgn #SidharthMalhotra and #RakulPreetSingh starrer helms a remarkable impression and collects Rs 8.10 Cr,” the statement read.
