It's a girl! Actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are finally embracing parenthood. On Sunday at 12:05 PM, the couple welcomed their little princess. The actress was photographed arriving at the HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai with her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor hours before the news of Alia's delivery broke. Soni Razdan, Alia's mother, was later seen arriving at the hospital.
Mahesh Bhatt, the new grandfather expressed joy and remarked, “Waiting for a new sun to rise. A fresh sparkling dew drop of life."
In April of this year, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married. The Darlings actress later shocked everyone when she revealed she was expecting a child on social media by sharing a sweet image from her sonography session.
In October, the Kapoor family also hosted a lavish baby shower for Alia, which was attended by a number of famous people, including Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Karisma Kapoor, Karisma's cousin, and grandmother Neila Devi. Shaheen Bhatt and Alia's mother Soni Razdan both attended the special occasion. Others who were there included Anushka Ranjan, Ayan Mukerji, and Karan Johar. The photos from Alia's baby shower quickly became popular on social media.
About their professional endeavours, Alia and Ranbir recently appeared together in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna all had significant roles in the movie. With Heart of Stone, Alia will soon make her Hollywood debut alongside Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan, Matthias Schweighofer, and Sophie Okonedo. Additionally, she is developing Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh for Karan Johar. Ranbir, on the other hand, will next be seen opposite Rashmika Mandanna in Animals. Additionally, he has started filming Luv Ranjan's upcoming film starring Shraddha Kapoor.
