Jammu & Kashmir reported 3 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours. One case was reported from Srinagar district and two from Jammu district.
India is once again
witnessing a slight upward jump in Covid-19 cases. According to the data
provided by Union Health Ministry, the country logged 2,593 new cases and 44
fatalitiesin the last 24 hours.
With this, India marked its fifth consecutive day of reporting
more than 2,000 infections. The total number of active cases in the country now
stands at 15,873 and the daily positivity rate is 0.56 percent.
Also, with 44 new mortalities in the last 24 hours, the total death toll
has risen to 5,22,193 in the country.
The national capital, Delhi is leading the list of new infections as it
recorded 1094 new cases and also registered two deaths due to the virus.
