MAKE YOUR KARVA CHAUTH MORE SPECIAL WITH THESE TIPS!

The Karwa Chauth celebration is just around the corner. The celebration, sometimes referred to as Karaka Chaturthi, occurs during the Shukla Paksha of the Kartik Maas. This year, Karva Chauth will take place in India from 1:59 a.m. on Thursday, October 13, to 3:08 a.m. on Friday, October 14. All men and women who will be participating in the ceremony might find some useful fasting advice in this post.

Married Hindu women conduct a nirjala vrat on this day, refraining from eating or drinking anything after sunrise for the duration of the day. They observe this custom in hopes that their husband would have a prosperous, secure, and long life. Only after seeing the moon in the evening and receiving water and a nibble of food from their husbands do the ladies break their fast.

Here are some things that can help you make your special day more comfortable:

PREPARE A DAY BEFORE: Stay hydrated and eat protein-rich food a day before that will give you enough energy to fast the next day. Fruits such as pomegranate and coconut water are highly recommended.

AVOID CAFFEINE: Avoid drinking tea or coffee in the morning. It might lead to acidity on an empty stomach, making you uncomfortable the whole day.

SARGI, MORNING RITUAL: This early morning meal is very important to kickstart your day on a happy and healthy note. Do not miss this time to eat and fuel up for the rest of the day.

OPEN YOUR FAST WITH JUICE: After the whole day of fasting, it is natural for the body to go low on sugars. So, open your fast with a glass of fresh juice to replenish the water and sugar content in your body. Avoid eating oily or junk food and refrain from binge eating. It might worsen the acidity in the stomach.
