BJP MP Demands Salman Khan Apologize to Bishnoi Community

A BJP Member of Parliament has called upon Bollywood actor Salman Khan to apologize to the Bishnoi community, reigniting the controversy surrounding the blackbuck poaching case. The MP expressed that the community remains deeply hurt by the incident, and an apology could help ease tensions.

The blackbuck poaching case dates back to 1998 when Khan was accused of hunting the endangered species during the shooting of a film in Rajasthan. The Bishnoi community, known for their efforts to protect wildlife, has been vocal about their disappointment with the incident. Despite the legal battles that ensued and the actor's subsequent legal relief, the sentiments within the community have not faded over the years.

Speaking to the media, the BJP MP emphasized the need for reconciliation, suggesting that an apology from the actor could be a step toward healing old wounds. "The Bishnoi community is known for its devotion to wildlife conservation. Their sentiments should be respected," he said, adding that the issue has become a sensitive topic once again after recent developments.

While Salman Khan has not yet responded to the latest call for an apology, his legal team has consistently maintained that he was wrongly accused in the case. The actor’s silence on the matter has, however, kept the controversy alive, with many in the community still demanding justice. Whether or not the star chooses to address this renewed plea remains to be seen, but the issue has once again brought the past back into the spotlight.
