Former Mumbai Indians (MI) coach Mark Boucher believes that the tough times Hardik Pandya went through in the last IPL season have made him stronger. That is why he is going to perform well this time.

According to Boucher, the fighting all-rounder will be at his best in the upcoming IPL.

The last season was very challenging for Hardik. Fans were angry when he replaced Rohit Sharma as the captain of Mumbai Indians and he disappointed him in almost every match at the Wankhede Stadium. His team also could not perform well, as a result of which MI fell to the bottom of the league table. But times have changed. After playing a key role in India's T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy wins, fans will support Hardik Pandya this time, cricket experts believe.

Mark Boucher said, "Last season was a very difficult time for Hardik. The audience would boo him whenever he stepped on the field, which is very sad for a cricketer. He deserves more respect." Boucher also said, "A cricketer never wants something like this to happen to him. But Hardik is a player with a strong mentality. He has gone through a lot of difficult times - injuries, unemployment, various challenges. But he has overcome everything and succeeded."

Boucher praised Hardik and said, "Big players in cricket know how to deal with difficult situations mentally. Hardik has done that too. If Hardik is in the IPL, the competition becomes more attractive. Hardik needs to be on the field for cricket too."

In this regard, let us inform you that former Indian cricketer and MI star Harbhajan Singh is also showering praises on Hardik. He stated that Hardik’s self-belief and positive attitude set him apart. Harbhajan stated, "Hardik is a very confident player. He has this kind of a strange self-belief that he can do anything. That is why he stands out from the others."

In addition, the ban on the use of saliva has been lifted in the upcoming IPL. This ban was in place since the time of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, this time the rule has been reintroduced with the consent of most team captains, which is a big change for the world of cricket.
