In a significant development for India's media landscape, the Jazzbaat News Network launched its maiden issue of the magazine The Jazzbaat in English.
The mega launch function was held in the Salt Lake area in Hotel, with eminent personalities in attendance. Renowned author, academic, and Vice Chancellor Hindi University Kolkata Nandini Sahu graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
Maharaj Prahaladananda of Haltu Asharam, International Vedanta Society, a prominent spiritual personality from Kolkata, also graced the event as a guest of honour.
Preethi D'Souza, a prominent event host and social awareness actor based in Dubai, and Sadiq Khan, a distinguished journalist, served as anchors.
Eminent journalist Rameez Makhdoomi anchored the proceedings. All the dignitaries congratulated Jazzbaat on this historic development. Nandini Sahu, Vice Chancellor of Hindi University, also released her latest book, Medusa, on the occasion.
Editor Nilanjan Dasgupta thanked the guests and announced that Jazzbaat would uphold media values and soon launch a 24/7 TV channel on Vijay Diwas, July 26, 2025.
The event was attended by prominent journalists, entrepreneurs, and academicians. Ashok Singh, Chairman of Jazzbaat 24 News Network, also blessed the historic event.
