Lalu Slams Shah's Ambedkar Remarks

Veteran politician Lalu Prasad Yadav has strongly criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his recent remarks on B.R. Ambedkar. Yadav labeled the statement as "hate-filled" and urged citizens to stand against what he called "dangerous divisive rhetoric."

Speaking at a rally in Patna, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief accused Shah of misinterpreting Ambedkar’s vision to fit a narrative that breeds social animosity. "Ambedkar stood for equality and unity, not hatred. This madness must be condemned," Yadav declared.

The controversy erupted after Shah made a speech where he allegedly linked Ambedkar’s ideology with the BJP’s political vision. Critics, including Yadav, argue that the remarks distort the essence of Ambedkar’s philosophy, which emphasized social justice and inclusion.

Yadav warned that such statements could inflame tensions among marginalized communities. He appealed to political leaders to engage in constructive discourse rather than propagating ideologies that deepen divisions.

This war of words comes amid heightened political activity ahead of key state elections. Analysts see Yadav's sharp response as part of a broader strategy by opposition leaders to counter the BJP’s narrative and consolidate their support base.

In an era where political rhetoric often dominates public debate, Yadav’s fiery condemnation highlights the deep-rooted disagreements about Ambedkar’s legacy. Whether this sparks a wider conversation or remains a flashpoint in the ongoing electoral battle remains to be seen.
