NISA Organizes School Leaders Conference

Srinagar:  The National Independent Schools Alliance (NISA) and the Independent Schools Association (ISA) successfully hosted the NISA School Leaders Conference, themed "A Step Towards Excellence - Empowering Learning Through Effective Assessments," at D Polo Resort, Dharamshala. This prestigious event, powered by Educational Initiatives (Ei), drew over 100 school leaders from across India, all eager to enhance their understanding of modern assessment techniques and strategies.

The conference focused on the pivotal role of assessments in improving educational outcomes. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions and workshops that highlighted innovative approaches to assessment, aimed at creating more effective learning environments. By sharing practical tools and insights, the event equipped school leaders with the knowledge necessary to refine their assessment practices and drive academic excellence in their institutions.

The conference was graced by several key figures, including Mr. A. C. Patil of National Ei, Mr. Thomas Antony, CEO of NISA, Dr. Gulshan Kumar, President of the Independent Schools Association Himachal Pradesh, and distinguished office bearers of ISA Himachal Pradesh.

Dr Kulbhushan Sharma, President of NISA, emphasized the importance of refining assessment practices to empower educators. "This conference is a testament to our commitment to advancing educational initiatives. By focusing on innovative assessment techniques, we are equipping our school leaders with the tools they need to drive academic excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement," Dr Sharma stated.

Dr. G. N. Var, Member NISA & President of the Private Schools Association J&K (PSAJK), emphasized the importance of such gatherings, stating, "This conference represents a vital step towards redefining the role of assessments in education. By empowering our school leaders with cutting-edge strategies, we can ensure that our students receive the best possible education, tailored to their individual needs."

Mr. A. C. Patil, Vice President of National Educational Initiatives, added, "Effective assessment is the cornerstone of quality education. This event has provided our educators with the tools to not only measure academic success but to foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning."
